Message	The turbos were brand new Garrett "Disco Potatoes" The probability of the brand new bad Garrett turbo is low, the same probaility as getting a bad JWT 700BB turbo. From initial inspection of the turbos retuned a few days ago I do not see a problem with them and I am leaning towards the fact that the turbos are OK. These are new Garrett turbos, we didn't install them, in order to recover any warranty claims on them we can't crack them open, nor are we qualified to do so. We can't just send another new set of nearly $3,000 turbos when there are real concerns that the turbos aren't the problem. We sent them to our Garrett distributor last week, we call him everyday and remind him of this situation. We can't force him to give us an answer this instant. We are dealing with a large corporation, and they do things on their time schedule. We do everything we can to speed up that process. At this point our Stage 3 turbo kit includes everything needed for direct installation. I think there were some modifications needed to install the particular set you installed, considering they were one of the first sets. The majority of modifications including the compressor inlet flange and wastegate brackets were done. We feel that the remaining issues were minor and it was my opinion that you were informed of these issues before installation. If there was some failure in communication there, then I will be happy to do what is neccessary to resolve those issues with you. I assure you we aren't trying to avoid the issue or take advantage of you. This is a bad situation for both of us and we are doing nothing unjust by any industry standards to take care of you as quickly and fairly as possible.
